One Monthly Plan, Everything Included
Once your site is built (or rebuilt) and live, it needs somewhere to run and someone keeping an eye on it. Your monthly plan covers hosting on a global content delivery network, an SSL certificate, uptime monitoring, and a set of minor content updates each month: a new phone number, updated hours, a swapped photo, a tweaked paragraph. All of it is included in one predictable bill, and if you’re coming from WordPress, your old hosting bill goes away entirely.
Why This Costs Less Than It Looks Like It Should
A static Astro site has no plugin stack to license, no security add-on to subscribe to, and no database to back up separately. There is simply less to pay for. Most clients find the monthly plan costs less than what they were previously paying for WordPress hosting, a security plugin, a backup plugin, and a caching plugin combined, and the site performs better besides.
What’s Included Every Month
- Hosting on a fast, global content delivery network
- SSL certificate, renewed automatically
- Uptime monitoring with alerts if anything goes down
- Minor content updates: text changes, photo swaps, hours, and contact info
- Priority email support if something needs attention
What’s Quoted Separately
Larger additions, like a new service page, a redesigned section, or a new location page, are quoted as a one-time fee when you need them. Stay on the plan for two years and the site becomes yours outright, full code, no strings. Cancel before then and you can walk away or buy out the remaining term to keep it. Either way, there is no proprietary platform holding your content hostage.
